Overview of Staff Professionals and Training

Magnolia Place employs over 90 staff members, including Licensed Vocational Nurses, CNAs, Medication Technicians, Caregivers, Culinary Chefs/Cooks, Waitstaff, Laundry and Housekeepers, Maintenance Team, and Administrative Staff. All staff are required to complete the State of California RCFE training and pass a background clearance before beginning employment. Additionally, ongoing monthly and annual training is conducted for the relevant departments as per State requirements.

Measures for Resident Safety and Well-being

Magnolia Place utilizes a wireless call pendant system that residents wear, allowing them to call for an attendant at any time. Routine checks on each resident are conducted throughout the day to ensure their safety and comfort.

Resources for Resident Transition

To aid in new residents' transition, Magnolia Place offers a resident orientation led by the management team and staff. The Resident Ambassador Program pairs new residents with current ones to attend meals and activities together, helping them connect and feel welcomed.

Transportation Services

Transportation services are provided Monday through Friday, along with weekly outings to locations such as shopping centers, movies, and museums, depending on resident votes.

Dining Experience

Magnolia Place offers restaurant-style dining with no set meal times, available from 7 am to 7 pm. A large menu is available at all times, with daily specials featured at all meals. Dining is considered a major highlight of the community.

Complaint Resolution Process

The Executive Director maintains an open-door policy for addressing concerns or complaints. In issues that cannot be resolved internally, discussion with the community's owners, who are family-operated, is encouraged to ensure timely handling of concerns.
