Staff and Training

The senior living community boasts a comprehensive team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, Directors of Nursing (DONs), Assistant Directors of Nursing (ADONs), medication technicians, physical therapists, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). All staff members are required to have college educations and are trained to meet the standards of their respective roles within the healthcare industry.

Safety and Security

To ensure the safety of residents, the community adheres to state limitations and follows guidelines set by the health department. The facility implements health code standards to maintain a secure environment for all residents.

Assistance with Moving In

Resources are available to assist new residents with moving into the community. The facility's maintenance team may provide help in certain cases, and for medical transfers, assistance may come from medical facilities or ambulance services. The community offers a full care campus with services ranging from skilled care to independent living, tailored to the specific needs of each resident.

Transportation Services

Transportation is available for residents, facilitating their mobility and access to external amenities and appointments.

Dining Experience

The community features a full-service cafe where residents can dine in or take out meals. This cafe is open to residents, staff, and visitors. Each living unit has its own dining room, and even those in assisted living have the option to enjoy three full meals a day. Snacks are available through snack carts, and in-room dining services are also provided.

Addressing Resident Complaints

If residents have complaints, they can fill out a grievance form. This form is then escalated through the nursing staff to the ADLN, the DLN of the facility, and potentially to the Executive Director (ED) if necessary.

Communication with Residents' Families

The community maintains an open-door policy for communication with residents' families, who are considered a priority. Social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook are used to reach out to the wider community and keep families informed about activities and events. A separate Facebook page is dedicated to residents and families for updates and involvement opportunities. Additionally, the community issues monthly newsletters to keep families informed.

Respite Care and Short-Term Stays

Options for respite care or short-term stays are available, with costs varying based on the level of care required for each individual resident.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed in certain areas of the community, specifically in independent living and assisted living units, with some exclusions in critical care areas.
