Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

We do currently have a wait list – we offer both short term care and long term care so the waitlist changes weekly. I would estimate approximately a 2-3 week wait at present.

Could you share pricing and any other general information?

Our private rooms are $290 per day, and semi private (1 roommate) is $250 per day. The only additional charges are if the resident needs any speciality equipment that is not covered by their insurance such as bariatric equipment, specialty mattress, etc.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

The Loft has 24-7 nursing coverage meaning there is always a RN & LPN in the building in addition to CNAs to provide care. These are licensed nursing positions that require them to pass a state exam to be a nurse or aide. We complete trainings and re-trainings monthly to ensure our staff feel knowledgeable and comfortable in providing care.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

Our staff are all mandate reporters from the housekeepers to the office staff and nurses. We also do ‘Angel Rounds’ where a department manager is assigned a few residents to check on them daily and ensure they have everything that they need.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We have a Social Worker on site who can provide resources and assist with applications to return to the community.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

Medical transports are fully covered and we have our own wheelchair accessible van. We also contract with a local wheel chair van transportation service as well. Our Activities Department does take residents out on leisure outings as well on a rotating basis.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We provide 3 meals a day in addition to snacks and drinks throughout the day. We do have a set meal that is tailored by a dietician but realize that a resident may not like what is being served. So we have an Anytime available menu that offers alternates.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

We have a grievance procedure that if the resident or family makes a complaint, the staff will fill out a grievance form that will be addressed by the department manager of the complaint. Our Administrator also reviews these to ensure things are followed up on and that the resident is happy.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

All of our rooms have a landline telephone where you can reach the resident 24/7. Families are also welcome to call to speak to the nurse any time. We have care plan meetings with families every 3 months or as needed to go over the residents care and provide an in depth update as well.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

We do offer short term respite, this is the same cost - $290 for private, $250 for semi private.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes! Pets are welcome and we have a sign right inside our front door that welcomes fully vaccinated animals – we only ask that animals do not go in the dining room during a meal.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Yes and we encourage it! We will even assist in setting up the appointment for covid vaccination and we are able to offer the flu vaccine in our facility so the resident does not have to travel.

Are residents able to age in place?

Absolutely. We have residents of varying independence and each resident is welcome to live with us as their forever home. We do currently have a wait list – we offer both short term care and long term care so the waitlist changes weekly. I would estimate approximately a 2-3 week wait at present.
