Staff and Training
All staff undergo a 2-day orientation and have ongoing education requirements each year, as set forth by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, in addition to specific community education as needed. Nurses and CNAs have their respective education as well. An independent doctor is available for residents who choose her as their PCP; however, we do not employ her.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Each resident has their own plan of care to address specific safety concerns. All apartments are equipped with emergency pull cords, and residents are provided with emergency pendants to wear.
Transition Resources and Support Services
We encourage families to follow a specific process and have systems in place to help residents transition and make new connections within the community.
Transportation Services
Transportation to medical appointments is included Monday through Friday within a 10-mile radius. We escort residents to the waiting room but do not attend the appointment with them.
Dining Experience
Our dining is restaurant-style, offering a variety of choices including a soup of the day, salad of the day, two hot meal choices, a sandwich of the day, and dessert. The menu also includes standard offerings available each day. Residents order their meals when they dine, not ahead of time. Breakfast includes a full hot meal with several choices, including eggs prepared to order every day.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents can voice complaints during monthly resident council meetings or discuss concerns with any member of the leadership team. We are all accessible to address concerns in our respective departments.
Communication with Residents' Families
Communication preferences are respected, with regular 30-day care plan meetings and additional meetings for any concerns. The nurse is available daily for questions and concerns as well.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Short-term or respite stays are available with a 2-week minimum at a rate of $285/day.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Aging in Place
