Our Team

We have a comprehensive team including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Medication Aides, a Dietician, 2 family practice MDs, 4 Nurse Practitioners, and a Pulmonologist. All staff are licensed in the state of MO and undergo extensive facility training upon hire, tailored to their position and job title.

Training and Safety Measures

We are committed to the ongoing training of our staff and adherence to the latest policies and procedures. Safety and wellbeing of our patients are paramount, with routine assessments and specific training on recognizing and reporting changes in patient status. We are equipped to handle emergencies, including on-site blood draws and access to emergency medications.

Personalized Care

Understanding that each patient has unique care needs, we implement measures such as high low beds, floor mats, and nonskid socks for fall risks. Admission processes include thorough review of the patient's records and discussions to determine the best care plan.

Support Services

Our social services and activities departments, along with psychiatry services and volunteers, support clients in adjusting to changes and enhancing their quality of life. We also provide transportation for doctor appointments and plan community outings.

Dining Experience

Patients have the option to dine in their rooms or in the main dining room, with the latter encouraged for social interaction. Our dining service offers a main choice, an alternate, and an always available menu, with meals served at 8am, noon, and 5pm.

Feedback and Communication

We encourage immediate reporting of any complaints through staff or grievance cards. Each resident is assigned a "guardian angel" for regular check-ins. Family involvement is crucial, with care plan meetings held within 3 days of admission and quarterly thereafter.

Respite and Short-term Stays

We offer respite and short-term stays, with admission based on clinical need and financial discussion. The cost is $262 per day for a semi-private room and $295 for a private room, with 30 days payment required upfront. We assist with Medicaid applications for those who cannot afford private pay rates.

Additional Amenities

Our community is pet-friendly for visiting pets with proof of vaccination. Vaccines are available in-house, and clients can age in place within our care.
