Types of Care Offered

The senior living community offers skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for short-term stays. This is designed to provide care for individuals who require medical or nursing care following an illness, injury, or surgery.

Admission and Availability

There is currently no waitlist for admission to the skilled nursing facility. Admissions are based on a day-to-day basis, as availability is determined by the discharge of current residents.

Respite Care

Respite care services are available for a minimum stay of five days. This service is often utilized by individuals receiving hospice care or those who require temporary relief for caregivers.

Aging in Place

The facility can assist residents to age in place, minimizing the need for relocation to higher levels of care.

Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed to live in the facility, but visits from pets are permitted.

Furnishings and Moving Assistance

Residents are not expected to bring in furniture as the facility provides hospital beds and necessary furnishings.

Transportation Services

While the community does not have its own transportation van, they can arrange for transportation services. The cost may be covered by insurance for long-term residents or included in the skilled services for short-term residents.

Dining Experience

The community offers a comprehensive dining program that includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with activities. Dietary restrictions and allergies are accommodated with alternative options.

Staffing

Professional staff, including registered nurses (RNs), licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), and certified nursing assistants (CNAs), are available 24 hours a day to provide care and assistance to residents.

Staff members are present around the clock to ensure the safety and security of all residents.

Vaccinations

COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are available to residents within the community.

Handling Complaints

Residents can report complaints to the nursing staff. If issues are not resolved, they can be escalated to the social services director through a formal grievance complaint process.

Communication with Families

The facility maintains communication with resident families through phone calls and sets up Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings or care conferences as needed.
