Overview of Professional Staff and Training

Our team consists of RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s; all team members receive ongoing in-service training.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Prior to a resident moving to our assisted living or memory care community, our team conducts a nursing assessment to determine appropriateness and level of care as well as a medication administration level; throughout a resident’s stay we are observing and monitoring their medical, physical and cognitive status in order to make appropriate changes to their individualized plan of care.

Transition Support Services

All of our team members assist with transitioning to the new environment; we introduce new residents to permanent residents and encourage them to join in programming. We can also refer residents for counseling service should they require additional emotional support.

Our residents enjoy restaurant-style dining and order from a menu.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

We encourage open communication between our team, residents, and families; any complaint or issue can be directed to each manager where the resident resides or to our Executive Director.

Leisure Park is a five-star quality care community that offers an elegant atmosphere, fine dining, and the security of professional and personal care. The community is designed with attention to detail, providing a beautiful and landscaped environment that residents are proud to call home. Private apartments offer residents a sense of ease and personal space, while the community atmosphere ensures that everyone feels at home.

Assisted Living at Leisure Park

Leisure Park's assisted living services provide residents with the care they need in a comfortable and supportive environment. The community does not currently have a waiting list for assisted living, allowing for timely accommodation of new residents. The assisted living experience includes a nursing assessment to determine the appropriate level of care and medication management for each individual.

Respite Care Options

For those in need of short-term care, Leisure Park offers respite care services with a minimum stay requirement of 30 days. This option provides a temporary solution for caregivers in need of a break or for seniors recovering from a hospital stay.

Pet-Friendly Living

Leisure Park welcomes pets, with certain restrictions on size, particularly for dogs. The community allows pets as long as the resident is capable of caring for their pet independently.

Moving Assistance

The community provides a list of preferred moving service providers to assist residents with their transition into Leisure Park. Families are also welcome to assist with the move if they prefer.

Transportation Services

Leisure Park offers transportation services to local towns at no charge, with additional services available for areas outside the local radius at a per-mile charge.

Dining Experience

The dining experience in assisted living is restaurant-style, with three meals provided daily. Residents can choose from two specials at lunch and dinner, as well as an always available menu.

Staff and Safety

The community is staffed with nurses, certified medication aides, and home health aides, all of whom participate in ongoing training. Residents are provided with an emergency pendant and have access to an emergency call bell in their apartments. Safety plans are tailored to each resident's specific needs.

Addressing Resident Concerns

Residents with complaints or concerns can reach out to the executive director or use the company's hotline. An open door policy encourages communication between residents, families, and staff.

Leisure Park maintains communication with residents and their families through monthly newsletters and activity calendars, ensuring everyone is informed and engaged with the community.
