Overview of Staff and Training

Our caregivers are trained by current staff members, and QMAPs (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel) are certified through the state. Training primarily consists of videos upon hire and is updated yearly as required by the state of Colorado.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents by staffing our facility 24/7. Residents are equipped with pendants to call for assistance at any time. Caregivers also make regular rounds throughout the day and night.

Transition Support Services

We offer a 100-day program to help new residents transition successfully. Newcomers are assigned an ambassador to help them integrate into the community, introducing them to other residents and assisting with meals and activities.

Transportation Services

Our facility provides medical transportation on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as transportation to community outings and events organized by our life enrichment team.

Dining Experience

Our "Gold Leaf" dining program offers two meal options for lunch and dinner, along with six "always available" choices, a soup of the day, and daily chef specials. Breakfast includes all the usual options.

Resident Complaints and Issues

Residents can contact our Residence Director, John McKinnon, to address complaints or issues. If satisfaction is not achieved, an official grievance procedure is available, as well as access to an ombudsman if necessary.

Cost of Living

Communication with Residents' Families

We conduct regular care planning meetings quarterly or as needed. Additionally, John McKinnon maintains an email distribution list to send out updates to families.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Currently, we are unable to offer Respite stays. For costs and more information, please inquire further.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community, allowing one dog or cat under 60 pounds, provided the resident can care for their pet.

Waitlist Information

We have a short waitlist for our larger one and two-bedroom apartments, but the wait is typically not long.
