Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training
We are proud to have a robust team of professionals at Legacy Heights, adhering to state regulations with a 1:10 ratio in our Assisted Living and a 1:8 ratio in our Memory Care. Our clinical team includes CNAs, MedTechs, two Nurses, an Assistant Director of Resident Care, and a Director of Resident Care. The culinary team is comprised of Servers, Sous Chefs, Chefs, and a Director. Our Activities Department features a Director of Activities for the Lifestyle 360 Program in Assisted Living, a Director of Memory Care for the Bridge to Rediscovery Program in Memory Care, and a floating Activities Assistant. The Maintenance Department includes a Maintenance Associate and a Director of Maintenance. Our Community Relations/Sales & Marketing team consists of a Community Relationship Counselor and a Director of Sales. The Executive Administration includes Front Desk Concierges, a Business Office Manager, and an Executive Director. All team members undergo comprehensive training in health and safety awareness & prevention, Dementia and Alzheimer’s awareness and protocols, 5 Star customer services, and department-specific modules, with updates every six months or as needed.
Safety and Well-being Measures
For the safety and well-being of our residents, we lock our doors every evening by 8pm, and our Memory Care is a 24/7 locked community. Family members wishing to visit after hours can call the after-hours number.
Support Services for New Residents
To aid new residents in their transition, we pair them with a capable existing resident. Our close-knit, family-focused community plays a significant role in welcoming and orienting new residents, encouraging participation in activities and community events.
Transportation Services
We offer unaccompanied transportation to doctor’s appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Dining Experience
Meals are served three times a day in our dining rooms, with meal options chosen by the resident for the following day. Assistance with food selections is available, and meals can be taken in the room if needed.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents with complaints or issues are encouraged to contact the appropriate Director. Grievance forms are also available, though direct communication with our leadership team is strongly advised.
Communication with Residents' Families
Communication with families occurs whenever there is a change in care need or medication.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community, with a community pet named Ollie and volunteers who provide pet therapy.

We do not currently have a waitlist.
Vaccination Services
We administer vaccinations on property, including COVID, flu, and TB vaccinations.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place at Legacy Heights.
