Overview of Staff and Training
We have a Licensed Nurse on site from 7:00am to 7:00pm and on call 24 hours. Our Licensed Nursing Assistant is on site 24 hours, as well as our Personal Care Worker (Resident Care Associate). Housekeeping staff are on site from 7:00am to 3:00pm, and Building Maintenance operates from 7:00am to 3:00pm with on-call availability 24 hours.
Safety and Well-being Measures
The Assisted Living side of our community is locked from 8:00pm to 8:00am, while Memory Care is locked 24 hours. Residents are provided with an emergency pendant and have access to emergency pull cords in their bathrooms. Safety checks are conducted throughout the night, every night.
Transition Support Services
We introduce new residents to a peer with matching personality and interests to assist with the initial transition. Our Associates provide reminders and assistance with navigating to and from meals and programs.
Transportation Services
Yes, transportation services are listed on our monthly calendar, including scheduled doctor visit days, as well as shopping trips with the store type specified on the calendar.
Dining Experience
Our mealtimes are as follows:
- Breakfast: 7:00am-9:00am (Memory Care 7:30am-8:30am)
- Lunch: 1st seating 11:30am-12:15pm, 2nd seating 12:45pm-1:30pm (Memory Care 11:45am-12:45pm and 12:00pm-1:00pm)
- Dinner: 1st seating 4:30pm-5:15pm, 2nd Seating 5:30pm-6:15pm (Memory Care 4:45pm-5:45pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm)
We follow an Eat Fresh, Eat Local Philosophy, utilizing local growers and producers whenever possible. Our dining room offers a restaurant dining experience with multiple meal options.
Addressing Resident Complaints
Appropriate staff and directors are always available to listen and assist with concerns. Resident Council is another resource for voicing and addressing concerns, meeting once a month in an open forum.
Cost of Living
The cost of living in our community is based on apartment size and style, as well as the level of care required. This can be discussed during a first visit.
Communication with Resident's Families
We hold care plan meetings to keep families informed and updated. The Resident Care Director, a Nurse, or a member of the Management team will communicate with authorized family members as needed.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer a 30-day respite stay option.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are a pet-friendly community for dogs and cats weighing 20 pounds or less, provided that set regulations are met.
