Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our facility is led by an Executive Director, with each department having its own director. The Wellness Director, a Registered Nurse, oversees the clinical team for both assisted living and memory care, with a team of med techs and caregivers. Staff in Independent Living includes housekeeping, concierge, and an activities director. All staff undergo monthly training on various topics, including safety and elopement drills.
Safety and Well-Being Measures
For assisted living or memory care, we adhere to NC state requirements regarding staff to resident ratio, 2-hour checks, and diets. In Independent Living, we maintain a visual on residents and provide all with an emergency pendant that notifies the clinical team in case of an emergency.
Transition Support Services
We offer support to new residents in Independent Living with written reminders and social integration efforts. In the healthcare side, residents receive more monitored guidance throughout the day.
Transportation Services
Transportation for errands and medical appointments is complimentary within the county and available for a charge outside the county.
Dining Experience
All residents have food choices, with a daily entrée and an alternate menu. Dietary needs are managed by our healthcare and culinary team for assisted or memory care residents, while Independent residents manage their own diets.
