Staffing

During the day shift, the staff includes three nurses and five CNAs for each side of the facility. The night shift has a reduced staff of two nurses and three CNAs. A physician and a PA are available daily to attend to residents' medical needs.

Safety Measures

For resident safety, the facility is equipped with call lights and wander guards. The wander guards prevent wandering patients from exiting the facility by automatically locking the door if they approach it.

Addressing Complaints

Residents can report complaints to CNAs, who will fill out a grievance form and forward it to social services or the administrator for resolution, depending on the severity of the issue.

Family Communication

Communication with residents' families begins with the director securing the admission. Thereafter, the facility maintains a contact list to reach out to emergency contacts or family members as needed to keep them informed about the resident's situation.
