Overview of Staff and Training

We have an LVN on-site 7 days a week, and care providers are available round the clock. Our team completes online training as well as one-on-one sessions with the team. Additionally, we offer on-site physical therapy 5 days a week, and we partner with a concierge physician.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

Our care providers perform status checks, and our health services director maintains close communication with the resident’s physicians. We provide health and service updates to families and offer reassessments when there is a change in condition.

Resources and Support Services for Transition

We have an engagement coordinator who assists in orienting new residents to the community, and we also have a welcoming committee composed of current residents.

Dining Experience

We offer all-day dining. In addition to our two daily lunch and dinner specials, we provide an all-day seasonal menu, including all-day breakfast.

Complaint and Issue Resolution Process

Residents are encouraged to speak with the Executive Director regarding any complaints or issues. If the issue cannot be resolved, it is escalated to our Vice President of Operations.

Cost of Living

The cost of living in our community ranges based on the size of the apartment and the care needs. Our rates in assisted living range from $3,995 to $6,795 per month.

Communication with Families

We send health and service updates to families and ask for the family’s preferred method of contact, whether it is text, email, phone call, or in-person meeting.

Ivy Park of Wellington

Ivy Park of Wellington is located outside gate 3 of Laguna Woods Village. Our community offers comprehensive care services, and our person-centered approach allows us to be very customized to each resident. We want it to feel like home, a safe place where residents can thrive with interactions and activities that develop a sense of community.

Amenities

Amenities include chef directed fine dining, housekeeping, ongoing daily activities and transportation needs, all in a beautifully appointed, secure home environment. In addition to these services, we can provide nursing oversight, medication management and personal attention by professionally trained, compassionate caregivers who are able to deliver assistance to those that need help with managing activities of daily living.

Accommodations

We offer spacious studio and one and two bedroom apartment homes with private patios, kitchens, and walk in showers.
