Overview of Staff and Training
Staff is trained according to their role in the community. On the clinical side, care is provided by CNAs and QMAPs. All staff members are enrolled in ongoing training that is specific to their departments through Relias training programs. Is there a certain certification or degree you are looking for?
Safety and Well-being Measures
We offer 24/7 staffing, and residents wear safety pendants on their person. This is the primary way they ask for assistance. Each apartment is also equipped with an emergency pull chord, and our call light response time is right around 5 minutes. Residents also have regular night checks, as well as a community of staffers to notice when health is changing. Residents also participate in monthly fire drills and meetings to discuss our emergency procedures.
Transition Support Services
We do not offer resources for moving, but we can often arrange for transportation to the community at move-in.
Transportation Services
Transportation to medical appointments within 8 miles of the community are part of our amenities. We also offer regular trips to the market and local shopping center. There are off-campus excursions weekly, usually Wednesdays and Fridays.
Dining Experience
We offer all-day dining, beginning at 7:30am and ending at 6:30pm. There are 2 specials offered during lunch and dinner periods. While the restaurant is open all day, and residents can dine anytime they like, the featured specials may only be available during the regular meal period, 11:30-1:30 for lunch and 4:30-6:30 for dinner. Lunch special may not be an option at 3:30pm, but residents can choose from the Always Available menu anytime. Breakfast offers a special or a large a la carte menu to create your own morning meal from 7:30-9:am.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
We start with a discussion with the care team or department head. Our Executive Director is also available, if we cannot resolve the issue.
Cost of Living
Monthly fees are made up of 2 parts: Rent for an apartment and cost of care provided. It all varies, depending on unit size and the services needed. Studios begin at $3600 and Level 1 care is $450.
Communication with Residents' Families
Part of our intake process is asking with whom do we communicate with and HOW do they want the communication. Most families receive pertinent information via email.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays with a 30-day minimum stay in both AL and MC. AL is $250 per day. MC is $300 per day. Cost could be higher, depending on care needs.
