Overview on Staff Professionals and Training

Our staff includes a variety of professionals, all trained and certified in their respective fields. This ensemble includes our Executive Director, who is also a registered nurse, a Director of Nursing (DON), Community Relations Director, Activity Director, Food Service Director, and a Business Office Manager. Each of these staff members undergo rigorous training at our facility.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have a key-coded entrance, sprinkler systems, and fire alarms. We conduct monthly drills and training sessions to keep our protocols up to date.

Resources and Support Services for Resident Transition

We offer resources such as resident ambassadors who spend time with new residents, introducing them to other residents. We also provide escort services to and from the dining room until the new residents are comfortable with the layout.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation for appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays are reserved for outings or shopping trips.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience is restaurant-style, featuring daily specials, soups, salads, healthy options, and sandwiches. We also have an "anytime" menu available. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:00 AM, and lunch and dinner are served at 11:30 AM and 4:30 PM, respectively.

Complaint and Issue Resolution Process

We conduct monthly resident and food council meetings. Residents can voice their concerns during these meetings or by arranging to meet with our Executive Director or DON.

Communication with Resident Families

We maintain communication with residents' families through monthly emails that include our newsletter, activity calendar, and pertinent information. We also hold care conferences to discuss the care of our residents, each of whom has a personalized care plan.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays for up to 30 days at a cost of $138 per day, plus the level of care determined prior to move-in.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are pet-friendly. Our courtyards allow dogs to be off-leash within a secured area. There are two courtyards, and our quiet neighborhood offers sidewalks for walking pets.

Waitlist Status

We currently do not have a waitlist, except for our Premium Studio. We have one 1-bedroom unit left before a waitlist will begin for those.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Residents are able to get both Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

Yes, Kingsbury Place supports aging in place and also provides hospice services.
