Staff Shadowing and Hiring Practices
New Staff are scheduled for a minimum of three (3) shadowing shifts with the most senior staff member available in their specific discipline (i.e. Med Tech, Caregiver, etc.). We only hire fully licensed Caregiver and Med Techs and check their credential standing before even offering/entertaining a position.Resident Safety and Well-being Measures
We have pull cords in every apartment as well as personal call pendants for all Residents on Assisted Living services. We also do an extensive Assessment and Care Plan for each incoming Resident, this includes an Activity preference questionnaire. We also have a New Resident welcoming committee of some of our most social Residents.Transition Support and Resources
We have an incredible partnership with Assured Home Health that will allow for us to do a fall screen and, when approved by insurance and PCP (Primary Care Physician), enrollment in Physical and/or Occupational Therapy so as to thrive as much and as quickly as possible upon Move-In.Transportation Services
Yes, to Physician Appointments (10-mile radius) every Tuesday and local shopping (Fred Meyer, Safeway, etc.) every Wednesday.Dining Experience
We offer three meals a day in our Dining Room. This is included in the base Rent. The menu is fixed but was have a side menu as well should the daily specials not interest the Residents.Resident Complaint and Issue Resolution Process
As the Executive Director, I maintain an Open Door policy. I also hold monthly All Resident forums that can be attended by any Resident. At those, I do not hold any “script”, it is an open forum for questions, concerns, and general community operational updates (as appropriate).Living Costs in the Community
We have Studio apartments that start at $3050 a month and go up from there. Again, that is All Inclusive (meals, transportation as mentioned above, maintenance, cable tv, all utilities, and wireless internet). Assisted Living Services start at an additional $650/month and increase based upon ‘Levels of Care’.Communication with Resident’s Families
We update when/where there is a change of condition or incident. Communication regarding Resident health is only with the DPOA on file.Short-Term or Respite Stays
