Current Reconstruction and Future Plans
We are currently under reconstruction turning 2 wings of our building into Assisted Living and Memory Care wings. We have operated as a complete independent care community for the last 50+ years under the Holiday Retirement banner. Purchased 2 years ago by private ownership, we are now in the first phase of our renewal. The outlook for full operations on the AL and Memory Care side is in about 8 to 12 months with a full staff of CNAs, Med Nurse, and on-call RN.Current Offerings
For now, we are only offering Independent Level care here at the community. To answer your question in sequence regarding our current offerings:Leadership and Staff
Our Executive Director has worked in this community for the last 14 years. We also have an executive Chef who has worked in Four Seasons Resort, a Sous Chef who has 10 years experience, an HR Administrator, and an Activities Director. I myself work as the Director of Sales and Marketing (26 years experience and yes, I'm the oldest on staff).Resident Services
Currently, as we only offer independent care, we provide a 24-hour emergency call pendant for all our residents. This pendant is assigned personally to every resident and has GPS capabilities so it can be worn at all times anywhere. The community hours for staff presence are 7 AM to 6:30 PM with the community locked after hours. Once we have the other 2 levels of care in operation, there will be staff available 24 hours.Community Guidelines and Transport
We do have an onboarding process as well as community guidelines for all residents. We do not offer transportation currently, but CVan operates here at the community. Again, once the other 2 levels of care come online, we will have transportation available.Resident Feedback and Emergency Protocols
We have an open-door policy for all residents with monthly resident meetings held in our dining room for feedback on all aspects of the community. We have secured files and contacts for all residents in case of emergency or changes in one's care.Lease and Availability
We are currently a month-to-month lease community so the minimum stay would be a month and the cost would be based on the apartment chosen. We currently have openings for independent care only.Health and Well-Being Initiatives
