Overview of Professionals and Training

We employ LVN’s, caregivers, and medication technicians. All team members receive the initial and annual required training mandated by Community Care Licensing Division, and many positions require a specific level of experience. All employees must pass a background clearance check to work at the community.

Safety and Well-being Measures

All residents in Assisted Living are provided with a pendant that can be used to alert staff that they need assistance. Resident and Public Restrooms have pull cords as an additional means of alerting staff regarding needs. Care staff complete routine rounds throughout the course of their shift for added security. Memory Care has egress doors that alarm in the event someone exits. In Assisted living, we have a Wander-guard system that can be used by individuals in the early stages of dementia, which will set off an alarm if they exit the community. All staff are trained in our emergency procedures, so they are prepared to respond in the event of an emergency and or natural disaster. We meet weekly as an interdisciplinary team to discuss each resident and determine if any team members are noticing changes that need to be addressed.

Resources and Support Services for New Residents

We have full and part-time staff dedicated to Social Engagement who meet with new residents and encourage them to engage in activities they enjoy. The Executive Director and the Health Services Director routinely meet with new residents to ensure a smooth transition and acclimation experience.

Transportation Services

We offer scheduled transportation to medical appointments Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Outings are planned each Monday and Friday, and transportation to religious services is provided on Sunday. Additionally, we offer 1:1 transport/personal shopping services at an additional charge.

Dining Experience

We have restaurant-style dining available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We offer a wide variety of made-to-order breakfast items and typically have a daily special. At lunch and dinner, we offer an entrée and soup, along with an anytime menu that changes throughout the year.

Resident Complaints and Issues

As Executive Director, I ensure that any concerns expressed by residents are escalated to me, and I work directly with residents and families to resolve any complaints. We have a procedure in place to assure a timely response to any concerns.

Cost of Living

Costs vary based on apartment size, location, and the type of care needed. Memory Care apartments start at $4195, and Assisted Living apartments start at $4495. Care costs vary considerably based on actual need.

Communication with Residents' Families

Residents provide us with emergency contacts, and we reach out to the primary contact first. We request that the identified emergency contact be our primary person to communicate with and share updates with any other family members.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays for a minimum of 30 days, with costs varying based on care.

Pet-Friendly Community

We are pet-friendly, requiring a nonrefundable deposit of $500 per pet, immunization records, and identification of a person to assume care for the pet if needed. We also offer pet care at an additional cost.

We currently have a waitlist for 2-bedroom apartment homes.
