Welcome to Our Senior Living Community

You have some very specific questions that I will attempt to answer to the very best of my knowledge. However, I am relatively new to Senior Living. Nevertheless, I will consult with my Team if there are any areas of concerns or questions that aren’t answered to your satisfaction. It is our mutual goal of finding the best, most qualified care and home for your loved one to safely thrive in daily and joyfully, and always have something to look forward to! On that note, our trained kind-hearted Caregivers are trained in a series monthly to provide each and every resident the compassionate care needed, and treat all residents with the utmost dignity and respect. Our Senior Wellness Director, Donna Martin, from Laurus Home Care (our own home health on-site) has been working in our Community for 11 years and a Nurse for 36 years working primarily with the geriatric population. Many of Donna’s long-time caregivers have been working here for 3, 5, 7, 9 and 20 years! Our Executive Director, Stephanie Ford, has been leading the “resident experience” in our Community for 3 years and in the field of Senior Living for over 20 years. Our Life Enrichment/Activities, Culinary, Sales, Housekeeping, and Maintenance Teams work unified, tirelessly, and cohesively as a family to provide all residents and their families with the very best experience and care in our Community as a whole.

Enhanced Community Features

Our Enhanced Community offers a daily 15 minute morning check-in, to ensure that a set of eyes is on your loved ones daily in their apartment for safety, as well as peace of mind for their families. Pull-cords are by the bed and toilet in each and every apartment, which when pulled by a specific resident alerts our care team to respond within 10 minutes for safety measures (and call an ambulance if necessary). A pendant to be worn by residents is also offered at time of move-in for additional safety measures as well. Residents have assigned seating in both our Enhanced and Independent dining rooms, which allows for Culinary to keep track of those that don’t show up for meals. The process is our reception is notified, a call is made to their apartment, if no answer then a caregiver uses a key to enter their apartment to ensure safety of all residents. Residents that choose to remain in their apartment or have a tray delivered to their room are asked to call down to reception. Any resident leaving the building, we ask families to sign out at the reception area so we know their location at all times and can thereby ensure their safety.

Transition and Transportation

During the first 30 days a resident moves in, we recommend an escort to meals and activities until they become familiar with the path from their apartment to the dining room and social gathering areas for activities. Furthermore, we provide “welcome ambassadors” that talk to each new move-in at their apartment (If they agree to at lease signing) to make a smooth transition into Community Living. We provide shuttle transportation for residents to go anywhere within a 10 mile radius, whether it be to their Primary Care Physician or shopping. Our Chef Dan has been with us for 8 years, and his Culinary team provides fresh, nutritious meals daily (Two meals for our Independent Living and 3 meals daily for our Enhanced Living folks with more care needed). It is an assigned seating, sit down, restaurant-style, order off the menu complete with fine linens and china to provide an exceptional dining experience with a variety of delicious foods.

Addressing Concerns and Enhancing Experience

Any complaints or issues to be addressed are handled swiftly by our Executive Director, Stephanie Ford. Her sole role is provide all that live with us the best and most positive “resident experience.” Stephanie remains in contact with residents’ families to update them on their loved ones care and well being while living here, and ensure that we are in fact inspiring joyful living here in our Community.

Cost and Amenities

The cost of our 1 bedroom Independent Living Apartments range from $4,700-$5,400/month. 2 bedrooms (Independent Living only) range from $5,700-$6,400. (2nd person occupancy fee of $850/month). This price includes a plethora of amenities as well. Our Enhanced Living Studio Apartment is our most affordable option, and ranges from $3,700-$4,300) with many amenities included. Our 1 bedroom Enhanced Living Apartments with amenities range from $5,500-$6,100/mo.($1,050 Second person occupancy). Additional care services, if needed, are assessed by a medical evaluation on each resident, and billed on a separate monthly invoice from our care team. In addition, we do offer short-term or respite stays, and have current availability as well. Our respite (furnished) apartments range from $4,886/month-$6,138/month. Our respite (non-furnished) Apartments range from $4,012-$5,067/month. Presently, we do not offer Covid vaccinations, however, we do offer flu vaccinations here in our Community annually. Currently, there is no waiting list, we are an age in place Community. Further, we are happy to report that we are a pet-friendly Community as well.
