Monthly Pricing
Live the life you choose at Independence Court, with enhanced personal care services. We are in a quiet location that is easily accessible to shopping, restaurants, nature, parks, and medical physicians.
Our monthly fees are based on two components. The Core Services include the apartment, amenities, and services. The Level of Care includes personalized care, ongoing assessments, and coordination with outside medical professionals (as needed).

Staff and Training
We employ LPNs, Medication Technicians, CNAs, and Caregivers. All staff are trained upon hire with mandated trainings per Department of Human Services.
Resident Safety
In terms of safety of residents, we have a locked Secured Dementia Care Unit on our first floor for those residents with a dementia diagnosis as this unit keeps them safe from the outside world. We have a wanderguard system in place to monitor and safeguard residents residing in PC. Our caregivers/med techs conduct rounds on residents every 2 hours for safety as well.
Transitioning Support
In terms of resources/support transitioning into the community, I can make myself available as a resource. We also have Tiffany (Sales/Marketing Director) and Krystal (Director of Nursing) who can be of assistance as well with the transition.
Transportation Services
We do offer transportation for residents to/from MD appointments only.
Dining Program
Dining program - 3 meals a day with an evening snack - meals are 8am, 12pm, and 5pm. A snack is offered after dinner service. We have an alternative menu always available for residents if they don't like what is on the menu on a given day (we can make things like grilled cheese, deli sandwich, soup, etc.) We do encourage all residents to come down to the dining room for mobility and socialization purposes, however, we have to respect their rights if they would like to eat in their room (additional charges could apply).
Concerns and Complaints
If a resident/family has a concern/complaint, they can speak to one of the department heads relating to that specific issue or they can talk to me, and I will investigate. If the resident/family is not satisfied with the resolution, they can contact the Area Agency on Aging, Department of Human Services, or County Ombudsman (all contacts are posted in the facility by regulation).

Family Communication
Communication with families is vital, things like med changes, significant health changes, falls, skin tears will be relayed to families at appropriate times of the day. I send out communication regularly to families about upcoming events, clinics, and other pertinent information relating to services and care.
Short Term and Respite Stays
We do offer short term or respite stays and can do a minimum of 2 weeks per respite stay. Pricing attached again.
