Overview of Staff Professionals and Training

In terms of nursing, we have Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). Our Executive Director is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA). Life Enrichment staff have specific certifications in activities and are certified dementia practitioners. Our Culinary Director holds a degree from Johnson & Wales and is a registered dietician. The majority of our management team members have advanced degrees in their fields or related areas. All team members regularly undergo continuing education classes and state-required training.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

The safety and well-being of our residents are of utmost importance to us. We conduct regular fire drills and other safety drills, along with CPR classes. All apartments are equipped with pull cords, and residents can opt for an additional emergency pendant. In independent living, residents can also opt for a morning check-in call provided by our concierge. We have a nurse in the building 24/7. Assisted living services provide customized care plans to meet each individual's needs.

Resources and Support Services for Transition

We offer resources for moving, packing, and downsizing. In independent living, a welcome committee greets and supports each new resident. We also have a full-time chaplain, which many residents find comforting during their transition.

Transportation Services

We provide transportation for doctor's appointments, shopping, errands, etc.

Dining Experience

In both independent and assisted living, we serve meals restaurant-style. We accommodate many special diets. In assisted living, we assist residents in making meal choices if they are unable to do so on their own and offer assistance with eating or cutting food.

Resident Complaint Process

Residents and family members have the contact information for each department to address any issues. Our Executive Director has an open-door policy and holds regularly scheduled meetings called “coffee with Sue,” where residents can voice praise or concern. Both independent and assisted living communities have monthly resident council meetings where issues can be openly discussed.

Cost of Living

Assisted living starts at $7,000/month, and independent living in the main building starts at $4,192/month.

Communication Policy with Residents' Families

Information is communicated with families via their chosen avenue and depends on the nature and reason for communication; options include email, mail, phone, in-person meetings, conference calls, and Zoom.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term respite stays in assisted living at a cost of $310/day.

Pet-Friendly Community

We are a pet-friendly community.

Current Waitlist Status

We have a waitlist for select apartments.

Vaccination Availability

We offer regular clinics for COVID-19, flu, pneumonia, and other vaccinations.

Aging in Place

Residents are able to age in place.
