Overview of Staff and Training

All non-direct care employees (Dietary, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Administration, Marketing) are CPR/AED Certified. Direct care employees range from CNA, LPN, RN’s, Social Workers, Dieticians, and Physical Therapists to name a few. All staff undergoes yearly mandatory ongoing training courses.

Safety and Well-being Measures

All residents are issued a Pal care button which they wear around their neck. It features a push-button for emergencies and GPS tracking as long as they are on campus.

Support for Transition into the Community

When on the waitlist, you become a “Passport” member, which gives you access to monthly activities on campus. Each new resident also has a “buddy” to help guide them.

Transportation Services

Scheduled group transportation is included. Private transportation is available for a fee, based on availability.

Dining Experience

There is a mandatory meal plan. There are 4 dining options on campus, ranging from lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Weekly specials and a daily menu are available. You can dine in with a reservation or order “To Go”.

Complaint or Issue Resolution Process

You can go directly to the department’s director via phone, email, or visit. Residents also complete a yearly survey via phone or email done by an outside source for Homewood to voice concerns.

Cost of Living

All pricing information is included in the brochure you were sent.

Our Independent Living Community Resource Director keeps in contact with families if there are any concerns.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

Waitlist Status

Yes, we currently have a waitlist depending on the area of interest and floor plan.

Vaccination Availability

Yes, vaccine clinics for Covid and flu vaccinations are held on campus.

Yes, with a signed Addendum to the contract. Relevant information is provided in the attached document.
