ASSISTED LIVING Rates

HOW ARE ASSISTED LIVING RATES CALCULATED?

Rates for assisted living are based on two parts. The first is a room and board rate based on the apartment style you select. The second is a care level fee based on the resident’s specific care needs. You’ll find more information on both fees below.

MONTHLY APARTMENT FEES

Your monthly room and board rate will be based on the unit type you select.

Respite Care Daily Rate: $275*

CARE LEVEL MONTHLY FEES

Prior to moving in, our caregiving team will perform a health assessment for each new resident. During the care assessment, the team will assess the resident to determine what needs they may have and collaborate with the resident and their family to develop a care plan based upon the information gathered from the assessment and the resident. Based on the agreed upon care plan, a care level and fee will be determined. All care plans are routinely evaluated which may adjust the fee from time to time.

ONE-TIME FEES

One-time fees are non-refundable.

• Community Fee: $1,000
• Pet Fee: $1,000

*Respite and Second Person rates shown are for Care Level 1; any additional care will be an additional charge.

All services are negotiated on a case-by-case basis based on resident assessment of needs and preferences. Rates are subject to change.

The Homestead Assisted Living Facility

The Homestead is a smaller assisted living facility and has several different sizes of apartments: semi-private/shared rooms, one size of a studio apartment and two sizes of one-bedroom apartments. All apartments have a small kitchenette area with a microwave and refrigerator. If funds become depleted, we accept Medicaid funding for reimbursement. Our intent is to care for residents until their final days, without having to move!

We support residents from the beginning to the end stages without a need to move as care needs change. Being an assisted living, we offer residents many activities throughout the day to keep them engaged and active, which is known to slow physical and mental declines, and keeps people from becoming bored and wanting to be elsewhere. There is also the opportunity to build friendships with others at Homestead, which helps the resident to truly feel like they are home. We have a caring family-like atmosphere and welcome new residents and their families.
