Community Details
This detailed information was received through an email from the Community Relations Director at Hollywood Hills via email on 2024-04-03.
Our Team and Training
Our staff includes a diverse group of professionals dedicated to serving our residents. This includes Managers (Executive Director, Marketing, Business Office, Activities, Maintenance, Driver, Nurse, Chef, Servers, Care Directors, Medical Technicians, Caregivers, Housekeeping). Each staff member undergoes rigorous training specific to their role to ensure they meet our high standards of care and service.
Safety and Well-Being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we implement individual care plans tailored to meet their specific needs. Additionally, we provide pull cords in rooms and pendants similar to life alerts for emergencies.
Transition Support Services
We offer resources and support services to aid residents' transition into our community. A resident ambassador, along with our entire team, assists new residents. Our activities director plays a key role in helping residents acclimate to their new home.
Transportation Services
Our transportation services are available Monday through Friday, covering doctors' appointments within a 12-mile radius. We also organize trips to museums, movies, lunches, Trader Joe's, Target, and more, ensuring our residents have access to a variety of activities outside our community.
Dining Experience
We offer three meals a day, featuring specials at each meal alongside a full alternative menu. Our full kitchen is open to resident feedback through chef chats, allowing them to give input on meal selections.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
All managers maintain an open-door policy to address any complaints or issues. We also provide our emails and meet with residents at the resident council to ensure open communication.
Cost of Living
The cost of living in our community varies depending on the unit and level of care needed. Studio units start at $4,495.00.
Communication with Residents' Families
We maintain constant communication with residents' families and encourage them to stay in touch with our team. We monitor changes in residents' conditions closely and hold care conferences for in-depth discussions.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term or respite stays with a 3-week minimum. The daily rate for Assisted Living is $225.00, and for Memory Care, it is $245.00. This requires the same paperwork as permanent moves, including a physician's form and an updated TB test.
Pet-Friendly Community
Our community is pet-friendly, allowing pets to visit and residents to own pets, provided they can care for them independently. A one-time pet fee of $500.00 is required, along with documentation of vaccinations.
Waitlist Information
We currently have a waitlist for larger units, but we do have a studio available.
Vaccination Services
Our community provides access to flu shots and COVID vaccines through our pharmacy, available in October.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place, with services accommodating everyone from those who still drive to those in end-of-life hospice care. However, we do not offer medical model services like IVs or feeding tubes.
