Support Services for Resident Transition

Our aides spend additional time with new residents to aid their transition into the community. Our activity staff also engage extensively with new residents to learn their likes and dislikes, facilitating a smoother transition.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation services with a bus that takes residents to and from their appointments. Scheduled outings around the Chillcothe community are also available when the bus is free.

Dining Experience

Meal times are as follows:
  • Breakfast: 7 AM
  • Lunch: 11 AM
  • Dinner: 5 PM
Meals are served in the dining room or can be taken in residents' rooms. Dietary staff present meal choices room-to-room, and alternative options are always available. Families may also bring in meals if desired.

Complaint or Issue Resolution

Residents can file grievances with any staff member or directly speak with the building's administrator at any time to address any concerns.

Communication with Residents' Families

Residents may have cell phones or use the facility's cordless phones to communicate with their families. The IDT team will inform families of any medical updates as they occur. Care plan meetings are conducted quarterly, or more frequently upon request.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays for up to 14 days at a rate of $280 per day.

Vaccinations

We have vaccine clinics for Covid and flu vaccinations, with consent forms required for participation.

Aging in Place

We support aging in place. However, if a resident begins wandering or exit-seeking, we may recommend seeking a safer environment. We do not have a waitlist; admissions operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Skilled services with therapy or long-term care are available.
