Overview of Staff and Training

We employ Certified Nursing Assistants, Medication Techs, and our Director is a Registered Nurse. Training includes CPR, OSHA, and procedures to ensure quality care such as positioning, moving a Resident, assisting with nutrition, improving skin integrity, dealing with emergencies, pain management, and end of life care. We also have 3rd party services providing Primary Care through a Physician's group called Evenuts and onsite Therapy through Legacy.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents by using personal protective equipment, standard precautions to prevent infection, and regular audits by county and state agencies. We have achieved 4 stars in safety, the highest rating, and have generators in all buildings. Regular fire drills are conducted to maintain preparedness.

Transition Support Services

Our Ambassador program involves a Heritage Greens Resident with at least 2 years in the community assisting new residents. They provide tours, introductions, and invitations to events after undergoing specific training classes.

Transportation Services

Transportation is included in the Monthly Rent for medical appointments 5 days a week. Our bus also provides transportation to grocery stores, Walmart, Target, Banks, and Dollar General, with an activities calendar available.

Dining Experience

We offer two dining options: Cardinal Dining with three daily meals and a choice of entrees or always available options, and Gate City Cafe' for Bistro style food. Residents can choose from our Personalized Service Packages for their meal plans.

Addressing Resident Complaints

Residents can speak with our Relations Director, Relations Manager, or Executive Director to address any complaints or issues.

Cost of Living

The cost of living in our community depends on whether the resident requires Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care.

Communication with Residents' Families

Our Executive Director sends out general updates via email, hosts monthly conversations with Residents, and we distribute monthly newsletters with activity calendars. Families can also contact the Relations Department, Nurse, or Executive Director at any time.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We are a month-to-month community and do not always have apartments available for Respite due to high occupancy rates.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a Pet Friendly community.

Waitlist Information

Our waiting list is primarily for Assisted Living or Memory Care. Independent Living typically has more openings, and we offer a program called Independent Living Plus for residents transitioning between care levels.
