Overview of Staff and Training
In our Independent Living (IL) section, we have a 24/7 front desk. All employees are trained in CPR/first aid. In Assisted Living (AL), we have 24/7 care staff and two nurses, although nurses are not available 24/7. Caregivers undergo online training and must shadow an experienced caregiver before working independently.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We maintain a 24/7 front desk in IL for emergencies. Residents must press a check button in their apartment between 5am-9am every morning. Failure to do so prompts a call or check from the front desk. AL residents are checked in the morning and reminded about meals and activities. All AL residents have an emergency pendant.
Transition Support Services
We facilitate monthly resident meetings and offer new move-in orientations to help residents transition into the community.
Transportation Services
Transportation services are available for residents, with a schedule provided upon request.
Dining Experience
Our community features two restaurants, one in AL and one in IL, offering a restaurant setting with daily specials and a regular menu. Hostesses and servers are available to serve our residents.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents can call or send an email to department heads or our general manager to address complaints or issues.
Communication with Residents' Families
We maintain communication with residents' families through emails or calls, especially if there are concerns about a resident's well-being.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do not offer short-term or respite stays.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Residents can get tested for Covid. CVS and Kaiser provide flu vaccinations around October.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place within our community.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community. The waiting list for the affordable program is approximately 12-14 months.
