Welcome to Heatherwood

The managers at Heatherwood have been mainly long-term employees of between 12 and 32 years. Our Executive Director has been here for 32 years in various capacities. We have staff on site 24/7. Each resident is issued an emergency call pendant which we will respond to assist. All interior doors are locked and accessed by buzzer from the front desk or by having a key. The building is fully equipped with a sprinkler system and a fire alarm system. There are cameras at exits and in the hallways.

Transitioning to Our Community

We do help new residents to transition into the community. I do the real estate sales onsite and am here to facilitate the move in and acclimate people to the community. We have residents who are on a hospitality committee and have lunch with a new resident and also answer any questions they might have. We do a Meet and Greet to welcome and introduce new residents.

Amenities and Services

We do have transportation to grocery stores and also trips out to shop or have lunch. We serve both lunch and dinner in our dining room. Any complaints can be heard by our Executive Director who will do his best to find a solution.

Pet Policy and Health Services

We are pet friendly. Cats can be in any condo and small dogs only on the first floor. We do have a flu clinic in the fall. We also had the covid clinic at the same time.

Aging in Place

Our residents can age in place. If they need more help that Heatherwood does not provide, they can hire aides to come in and help them. We have a Director of Resident Services and she will consult with the family to ensure the resident has the help they need. We do not have aides on staff as we are strictly independent living.

At the moment I do not have any condos for sale and I do have a waiting list.
