Community Operations and Staff Training

Our community is operated by an executive director, with six departments reporting to her: Maintenance, Dining Services, Business Office, Marketing, Nursing/Wellness, and Activities. All staff undergo extensive training on working with seniors upon hiring, alongside thorough background checks and fingerprinting.

State Regulations and Emergency Preparedness

We are mandated/regulated by the state to meet all healthcare requirements, with bi-annual inspections ensuring our operations are up to standard. Staff are trained for all emergencies, including resident emergencies, hurricanes, evacuations, elopements, and fire safety. Our accushield system monitors all individuals in the building at all times.

Resident Transition Programs

Programs such as new resident's lunches, resident-guided tours, and a resident ambassador program are in place to help newcomers adjust. Staff also play a crucial role in aiding this transition.

Transportation and Dining Options

Community-provided transportation is available at no extra cost. Dining options vary by program, with assisted living receiving three meals a day and independent living receiving a $400 meal credit. Our dining room operates like a restaurant, offering daily specials and an al a carte menu.

Resident Feedback and Communication

Residents can voice complaints directly to department heads or the executive director, through grievance forms, or at monthly resident town hall meetings. We communicate with family members through care merge, e-blasts, and direct nursing communication for assisted living, including care plan meetings and a bridge portal for direct communication with in-house doctors.

Pricing, Respite Stays, and Pet Policy

Brochures with apartment pricing information are available, with costs varying by apartment size. We offer respite stays with a 30-day minimum at $7500 and are a pet-friendly community.

Health Clinics and Aging in Place

Yearly flu/covid clinics are offered, alongside the option for aging in place with levels of care including independent, assisted, and memory care. While there is a waitlist for specific apartment floorplans or views, we have current availability in certain floorplans.
