Overview of Staff and Training
We have a licensed nurse overseeing the care staff, resident aides, and med-techs. While a CNA certification is not required, as we are a non-medical treating facility, our staff undergoes specific training to provide the best care for our residents.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Our community is secured with pin code activated doors. We have 24-hour staff and provide routine monitoring of residents to ensure their safety and well-being.
Transition Support Services
Our activities team is available to help new residents acclimate to the community.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation for shopping on Mondays and excursions on Thursdays, but we do not provide transport to medical appointments.
Dining Experience
We serve home-cooked meals and can accommodate certain diets. Both residents and staff enjoy our food offerings.
Resident Grievance Process
Our grievance policy and contact information are posted near the front desk. Care issues can be directed to the Director of Wellness or to myself. All grievances are recorded for compliance.
Family Communication Policy
The Director of Wellness communicates any changes or concerns to families. Our care staff are also available to answer questions. We offer Mobile Physicians as a PCP option, facilitating communication with families.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do not offer short-term or respite stays.
Pet Policy
While we are not a pet-friendly community, pets are welcome to visit.
Waitlist Information
We currently have a waitlist for memory care but have availability in assisted living.
Vaccination Clinic
We offer a vaccine clinic through CVS for Covid and flu vaccinations.
Aging in Place
As we are not a skilled nursing facility and are non-medical treating, residents with care needs beyond our license must transition to a higher level of care. Our residents must be able to bear weight, pivot, assist with transferring, and feed themselves. We do not administer injections.
