This detailed information was received through an email from the Director of Sales and Marketing at Harmony At Chantilly via email on 2023-11-21.
Our Leadership and Staff
Starting at the top we have an Executive Director that has years of experience and is licensed by Virginia.
Nursing Department is overseen by The Director of Nursing, she is a Licensed Practical Nurse.
The Nursing Department includes Certified Nursing Assistants and Medical Technicians 24/7.
We have a Director of Life Enrichment and her assistant in the Activities Programing Department.
We have a Maintenance Director, Maintenance Assistant, and Housekeepers who cover the building maintenance and cleaning etc.
We have Concierge team that is at the front desk from 8AM-8PM.
We have a Director of Dining Services and her team of chefs and servers.
We have a Business Office Manager that collects/pays the invoices.
Lastly, I am the Director of Sales and Marketing and we have a Sales Counselor. We are your first step in the process of moving to Harmony.
Healthcare and Therapy Services
We also have Physicians that visit the community, onsite Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. A visiting Dentist, Podiatrist, Lab, Mobile x-ray etc.
Training and Certifications
The community provides ongoing training online and hands on. This training covers everything from sanitation to memory care training, and other forms of care procedures. Every employee must complete the courses and every employee must be CPR and First Aide Certified.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Every resident in Assisted Living and Memory Care has a Personal Care Plan. This Care Plan specifically states what kind of care the individual requires. Our team of caregivers follow the care plan to ensure each resident is properly cared for.
Support Services and Transition Resources
Yes, we have a Resident Council, Dementia Support Group, Church Services, and we offer resources to those wanting additional Home Care in Independent Living. We also provide resources for hospice etc.
We also have a Resident Ambassador that assists with getting familiar with the community.
Transportation Services
Yes, Mondays are grocery shopping days and Thursdays are fun outings. We also offer transportation to appointments etc. 10-mile radius is free. Anything beyond 10 miles is .64 per mile.
Dining Experience
Restaurant style dining. A server will assist with taking your order at the table when you are seated. We serve an appetizer, 2 choices for main, and dessert. We also have an a la carte menu.
Addressing Resident Concerns
We have a 24/7 hotline number. The Executive Director also has an open-door policy, a resident is welcomed and encouraged to stop by his office with any concerns.
Cost of Living
Please see the attached rate sheet for Assisted Living. If you are looking for Memory Care or Independent Living, I can send that over as well.
Communication with Families
We keep in touch with our Residents on the daily. Again, we have an open-door policy and each department is very engaged with our residents. Families are contacted on a monthly basis for wellness updates unless a change has occurred in the care plan and we need to meet or go over things in nursing.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer 30-days respite that can be extended once. The rate is in the attached.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living can keep pets. We allow pets to visit as well.
