Overview of Our Staff and Training
On our clinical team, we have a Director of Nursing, a Memory Care Director, LPNs, and Caregivers, which includes both CNAs and Resident Assistants. Our clinical directors, Jacqualyn and Kimberly, can provide more detailed information on the training processes.Safety and Well-being Measures
We have several safety measures in place: - Our front door automatically locks at 7pm but remains accessible via a key code. - All emergency exits are locked at all times. - For independent living residents, we have a daily check-in system where residents press a button in their apartment by 10:00am to indicate their safety. If not checked in, we call them and knock on their door if necessary. - Assisted Living and Memory Care residents receive routine checks based on their individual care plans.Resources for Residents’ Transition
We connect new residents with resident ambassadors to ease their transition. Ambassadors provide community tours, help engage new residents in activities, and dine with them. Our leadership team introduces themselves to all new residents, and we host a monthly new resident meet and greet.Transportation Services
Our shuttle runs 5 days a week, with medical appointments available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also organize daily outings to places like Walmart, Publix, Kroger, and Dollar Tree, with Friday lunch outings.Dining Experience
Our dining room operates like a typical restaurant. Residents can sit wherever they are comfortable and order from servers, with two entree options and an A la carte menu available.Handling Complaints or Issues
Residents can approach our Executive Director for help with simple fixes. Billing complaints are handled by our Business Office Manager. For serious issues, residents can complete grievance forms available at the concierge and submit them to the Executive Director.Communication with Residents' Families
For Independent Living residents, we communicate with family only in medical emergencies. For Assisted Living residents, communication is outlined in the care plan established upon admission. Families are notified of medical changes or emergencies.Short-Term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays on a case-by-case basis due to limited availability.Pet Policy
We are a pet-friendly community with a 2-pet limit and a 25lbs weight limit for dogs. Residents must be able to care for their pets.Waitlist for Apartments
