Could you provide an overview on the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

We have 140 team members employed at Halcyon. Our RNs, LPNs, and CNAs are certified and must do continuing education credits as needed.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

There are many safety procedures in place to ensure resident safety. Is there a specific area you are referring to? We have different procedures for each area of Halcyon. We have Independent Living, Assisted Living, Assisted Living Memory Care, Long Term Care and Long Term Memory Care.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

I am the transition coordinator as well as the sales director. I work with the leaders in the different areas to get residents acclimated to our community.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

We do offer transportation under our home health branch here, there is a fee for these services. The Washington County Mini Bus is another mode of transportation we utilize at our community.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We have a restaurant, Circa 59, that offers a full menu as well as daily featured specials. We offer healthy options and a wide selection of choices for dining. In the health center households, we offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials, but residents can order off our menu if they do not care for the special that day.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

The resident can report to the staff or Executive Director, Vani Tschantz, for any complaints or issues.

What is the cost of living in your community?

We do not have this number, I believe our administrative team is working on compiling this.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

We have many ways of communicating with families and each situation and family is different.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

We do and it is dependent on the area of the community that they will stay.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes, we are.

Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

Yes, we do.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Yes, we offer these services.

Are residents able to age in place?

Yes, that is our goal.
