Levels of Care and Costs

Our levels of care range from $500 to $2000 for Assisted Living/Memory Care is $1600 to $2400. These are determined by an assessment completed by a LPN based on the needs of each potential resident.

Staff and Expertise

At Baywood Senior Living, all staff must pass a Level 2 background check and a drug test, along with CPR/First Aid. Our administrator is core certified by Florida standards and is an LPN. We have three additional LPN’s on staff, including our Director of Nursing, with someone on call 24/7. Our supervisor of maintenance, who is HVAC and EPA certified, has been caring for this building for the past 6 years, with maintenance present 7 days a week. Our Med Tech’s complete 6 hours of training initially, with a minimum of 2 hours of additional training annually and ongoing training monthly. Our Resident Care Partners complete 2 days of onboarding training and 1 day of hands-on training, with ongoing monthly training.

Medical Care and Services

We offer a choice of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners for in-house care, and we have a Podiatrist, Dermatologist, and Ophthalmologist who visit monthly or twice monthly if needed.

Safety Features

Bay Wood has unique motion detectors for safety, including a motion detector above the bathroom door that activates LED lights and alerts staff to movement. We also have pull cords, safety bars, and a required pendant for all residents, in addition to cameras in common areas.

Additional Resources and Transportation

I offer resources for potential residents, such as attorney referrals, moving companies, Home Health, and Medicaid professionals. We assist with deliveries, transportation for potential residents, and provide an Ambassador for new community members. Bay Wood Senior Living provides transportation to doctor's appointments, shopping, and lunch outings.

Dining Experience

Our chef prepares three nutritional meals a day, with meal times adjusted for Assisted Living and Memory Care units. Menus are approved by a licensed nutritionist.

Communication and Concerns

If a resident has a complaint or concern, they can approach any Manager or our Administrator. We involve family as needed and encourage ongoing communication. Visitation hours are from 8:00am to 8:00pm, with arrangements possible for after-hours visits.

Accommodation Costs

Our prices vary depending on room size, ranging from a shared room at $2999 to a 1 bedroom at $4595. Floor plans are enclosed.

Family Communication and Respite Care

We contact families with any "change in condition" and offer respite care on our Assisted Living side at $165.00 a day with a 2-week minimum.

Pet Policy

Yes, we are a Pet friendly community with a $500 admission fee.
