Pricing in Assisted Living

Pricing in assisted living is all-inclusive. Fees include three chef-inspired meals each day, personal care assistance with bathing and dressing, medication management, accommodations for special diets, a 24-hour emergency alert system and access to 24-hour staffing. The fees also include utilities, basic cable, local phone, home maintenance, weekly housekeeping and daily bed making.

These private pay rates do not include Memory Care or Nursing Care. Should you need other levels of living, you will pay the private-pay rates appropriate for the level of living and services provided.

Pricing for Assisted Living

The minimum price for assisted living at Goodwin House is approximately $8,000 per month. This cost can increase to $10,000 or $12,000 per month depending on individual needs and services required.

Inclusive Services

Most levels of care, including assisted living, are inclusive of various services. This typically means there are no additional costs for:

• Housekeeping
• Meals
• Cable
• Internet
• Other amenities

Insurance may cover certain services, but it does not pay the monthly fee.

Additional Information

Goodwin House does not generally offer respite or short-term stays, with some exceptions based on availability. Pets are allowed within the community.

Goodwin House Alexandria has two different Assisted Living neighborhoods:

• The Richmond: This neighborhood features 41 apartments, each with access to its own dining room.
• The Dominion: This neighborhood includes 11 apartments, also with its own dining room.
