Prices Effective January 1st, 2024

SPECIAL SERVICES:

• Continence Care, AM or PM Assistance $5.00 each
• Whirlpool or Full Bath $10.00 each
• Tray Service $5.00 per meal
• SAIDO Learning $225.00 per month
• Memory Support $20.00 per day
• Memory Support includes: AM or PM Assistance, weekly whirlpool, and SAIDO Learning
• The Memory Support service fee is required for all residents with a diagnosis of cognition impairment with a mini mental (MMSE) score of 20 (moderate) or below. It is also available upon request.

** Specialized ancillary service charges may vary from month to month depending on what services the resident is receiving. The Brethren Court will provide room furnishings at no charge if requested.

TELEPHONE

GSH offers a shared telephone service through Bascom telecommunications. Initial hookup fee is $15.00 which includes the first month’s fee. Thereafter, the fee is $10.00 per month with unlimited local (Fostoria & Tiffin) and up to 90 minutes of long distance (5 cents after 90 minutes). Family may also make private arrangements.

CABLEVISION:

Initial hookup is $25.00, which includes the first month’s fee. Thereafter, the fee is $20.00 per month.

Professional Staff

We have many professionals on staff such as our Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, House Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Dietitian, Communications Director, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech therapist, Social Workers, and some Doctors that come out to see their patients. Our staff undergoes individualized training pertaining to their job, but specifics are not available at this time.

Security

Our main door, where our reception sits, is the only door open while the receptionist is present. All other doors are locked at all times. Our main door locks after the receptionist leaves for the day. We also have cameras at our door areas.

Social Services

Our Social Services department helps residents transition back to the community and find resources catered to their needs. They also handle the complaints and concerns of our residents.

Transportation

We offer transportation for our residents, though it is based upon the availability of the driver and vehicle.

Dining Options

We offer menu style dining where residents are able to choose from a menu for each meal, including options from an a la carte menu. Meals can be delivered to the table or to their room.

Communication

We communicate through our newsletter, an alert system via phone call/text message, and nurses call family or designated contacts for updates or emergencies.

Short Term and Respite Stays

We offer short term and respite stays in our nursing facility. Rates are daily and depend on the room that the resident is in. This information is attached to this email.

Pet Visitation

We allow pet visitation. Our Brethren Court residents, which is our Assisted Living, are able to have a pet.

Vaccination

We offer the Covid vaccine and Flu Vaccine here.

Aging in Place

Residents are able to age in place.

Availability

We currently do not have a waiting list for our Assisted Living.
