Overview of Our Staff and Training

As a 55+ Active Adult Community, our staff primarily consists of professionals skilled in community management, event planning, and resident support services. While we are not medically involved with our residents, our team undergoes regular training to ensure they are equipped to provide the highest level of service and support, focusing on creating an engaging and active environment for our residents.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our residents through a variety of measures, including regular maintenance checks, secure access to the community, and emergency response plans. Our team is trained to respond promptly and efficiently to any concerns that may arise.

Transition Support Services

To aid residents in their transition into our community, we offer resources and support services designed to make the move as smooth as possible. This includes orientation sessions, welcome events, and a dedicated staff member to answer any questions and assist with the transition.

Transportation Services

We offer complimentary transportation services for our residents, including trips to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and off-site events. This service is part of our commitment to ensuring our residents have access to everything they need to enjoy a full and active lifestyle.

Dining Experience

As a 55+ Active Adult Community, we do not offer meal plans. However, our community is located near a variety of dining options, and our transportation services can facilitate access to these establishments.

Residents can submit maintenance requests through our resident portal or contact the Leasing Office directly to address any complaints or issues. Our team is committed to resolving any concerns promptly to ensure the satisfaction and comfort of all residents.

Communication with Residents' Families

Our community corresponds directly with our residents. We encourage open and direct communication to ensure that all residents' needs and preferences are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer a minimum of 12-month leases, focusing on providing a stable and long-term community for our residents.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community, welcoming residents and their furry friends.

Availability and Waitlist

We currently have availability for immediate move-in, as well as for future move-ins. Apartments can be reserved for up to 60 days in advance.

Vaccination Events

While we may include Covid vaccination and flu vaccination events on our Events Calendar, these are not guaranteed. We encourage residents to stay informed about local health resources for their vaccination needs.

Aging in Place

Our staff is not qualified to determine eligibility for higher levels of care. Residents and their families are encouraged to utilize outside resources to better determine eligibility for aging in place or the need for additional care services.

Join Our February Events at Glenmont Abbey Village!

One of the many highlights of our communities is our extensive monthly events calendar, tailored to enrich your experience and foster a sense of community. Throughout the month of February, we're hosting exciting social events for your (future) neighbors 😊 and would love for you to join us for a few! This is your chance to experience the lively atmosphere and genuine camaraderie that defines our 55+ Premier Active Adult Community. I’ve attached our February Events Calendar and hope you can join us for a few! We have added a Valentine Luncheon, Leap Day Line Dancing, as well as a few bonus Happy Hour events – let me know if any of those interest you.

Your Monthly Rent & Lease Charges Include:

  • Heat, hot water, trash & recyclables removal
  • Standard cable/high speed internet ($80)
  • Trash valet pickup ($15)
  • Pest control ($3)
  • Access/usage of our clubhouse amenities

The clubhouse is equipped with an indoor pool, theater, fitness center, game room, and our great room where many resident activities take place. Other amenities include 24 maintenance, granite counter tops in kitchens & bathrooms, individual A/C units and each apartment is equipped with full size washer and dryers. The only additional cost to you would be electricity, which on average is $50/ month and Renter’s Insurance which is on average $10/month. Garages are an additional $155 per month, pending availability. Our residents also have the convenience of our own bus for transportation to shopping, doctor appointments, dining trips and other adventures that highlight local & state attractions. Our buildings are smoke free.
