Overview of Staff and Training

We staff the unit with LPN’s, med techs (who can pass meds) and GNA’s (nursing assistants). We mainly provide electronic educational training through Relias. There are annual skills education days for the nurses. The unit is overseen by an RN (delegating nurse).

Safety and Well-being Measures

We provide ample staffing, have a very engaged activities department, and we have a wander guard system for any potential resident that might be at risk of wandering off the unit.

Transition Support Services

We have a licensed Social worker as well as psych support if needed.

Transportation Services

We can arrange transportation at a cost or the family can provide transportation.

Dining Experience

We have a general dining area for all AL residents or the resident can choose to have their meals delivered to their room. Three meals provided daily (8, 12, and 5).

Resident Complaints and Issues

We have grievance forms that are completed when there is a concern from the resident and or family/friend/visitor. Depending on the concern, the grievance form will go to the department of concern for investigation. We strive to resolve any concerns as soon as possible but no longer than 5 days. If need be, we will get the county ombudsman involved.

Communication with Residents' Families

We would contact the family of any significant change as well as the six-month service plan review.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do not offer short-term or respite stays, sorry.

Pet-Friendly Community

We do allow pet visits.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Yes, residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.

Aging in Place

Yes, residents are able to age in place, as long as they are medically safe to do so.
