Overview of Staff and Training

Our Assisted Living facility employs a diverse range of professionals committed to providing high-quality care. Our team includes three Registered Nurses (RNs), one of whom is the Director of Nursing. Additionally, Level 1 Medication Aides (L1MA) are responsible for the complete administration of medications. All nursing staff must meet state guidelines for requirements and continuing education. Our administration office is staffed by four professionals, collectively boasting over 75 years of experience in Senior Living. We also have two Executive Chefs to enhance our dining experience.

Safety and Resident Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, staff conduct rounds at 10 am and 10 pm daily to confirm that each resident is comfortable and accounted for. We utilize assigned seating during meals for efficient service and as a safety measure, where non-attendance prompts a staff check on the resident. Our eyes are also on our friends during medication passes and various daily activities.

Support for Transitioning into the Community

Our staff is welcoming and ready to escort new residents to activities as desired, ensuring they feel supported in their transition. We have “Ambassador” residents who welcome and guide newcomers, promoting comfort and a sense of community. Our community is privileged to foster camaraderie and friendships.

Transportation Services

We offer complimentary weekday transportation services to grocery stores, Walmart, Kohl's, and scheduled medical appointments for residents.

Addressing Resident Complaints

Resident concerns are immediately addressed by our administration. For anonymity, residents may use a specific mailbox for submitting concerns. We hold monthly Resident Council meetings with department supervisors present, and notes from these meetings are provided to residents.

Communication with Families

We maintain a comprehensive file of family contact information accessible by the office, concierge, department heads, and dietary and maintenance staff. Concerns or medical needs prompt communication with the first emergency contact. Family members are encouraged to reach out with concerns as well.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays at $150.00 per day, including meals, housekeeping, activities, scheduled transportation, and laundry.

Pet Policy

Our community is pet-friendly. Dogs must be housed on the first floor for easy outdoor access, while cats are welcome in any apartment. Pet care is the responsibility of the resident, with a one-time fee of $500.

Waitlist and Availability

We currently have a waitlist for Assisted Living and limited availability in Independent Living. A $500 deposit secures a spot on the waitlist and locks in the current discount.

Vaccination Availability

Residents can receive COVID-19 and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

Our facility supports aging in place with both Independent and Assisted Living options available. Our sister community, Delmar Gardens, offers Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care, Memory Care, Rehab, and Medicaid services.

Community Fees

We do not charge upfront Community Fees or have levels of care. Instead, we provide an All-Inclusive Community with a la carte options for salon visits or landlines in apartments.
