Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

No.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

Our Executive Staff is comprised of the Community Director, Assistant Community Director, Leasing and Marketing Manager, Chief of Maintenance, Director of Housekeeping, Executive Chef, and 2 Social Service Personnel. As this is Independent Living, we do not have medically trained professionals under our employ. We do however have AW Healthcare on-site as well as Fox Therapy that are happy to contract out to meet any of our residents needs including home health.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

All of our lobby doors (with the exception of the main lobby that is attended by security staff) are locked 24/7. There are emergency pull cords in each resident’s bathroom and bedroom for assistance.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We offer a list of helpful tips for moving, but we also offer the support of our Floor Representatives. As each resident moves in, the floor representative will introduce themselves and help the new resident acclimate by inviting them to dinner or lunch, explaining all the activities and helping with directions the first week.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

Yes

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We have a private chef that creates a 3-course meal once a day. Residents are able to order from a preselected menu at their table. The food is then prepared fresh just like a restaurant dining experience.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

They may address their complaints with the Community Director.

What is the cost of living in your community?

It varies depending on the floor plan you choose. We encourage everyone to schedule a tour so that we can show you our outstanding amenities and location.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

No, we do not. Our leases are for 1 year and may go month to month after the one year period.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

We allow 1 pet under 25 lbs. There is a $300 fee for this.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Walgreens is next door.

Are residents able to age in place?

Yes, as stated under the 2nd bullet point, we partner with AW Healthcare and Fox Therapy. However, each resident may hire and bring in a company of their choice to assist them.

We have recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, adding even more amenities. You will find the value here is extraordinary! I did try to reach you earlier at 323.568.1364, but there wasn’t a voicemail available to leave a message, so I thought I would try your email.

We know that people make all the difference! Our staff is top-notch and includes a full-time chaplain, social workers, a Life Enrichment Director, Executive Chef, and even a personal trainer. In addition, a number of service providers are located on-site at Gambrill Gardens to provide additional care (if needed) to accommodate changing needs.

Our monthly rates are inclusive!

We have no hidden fees. Our monthly rate for our private apartments includes all utilities, cable television, and bi-weekly housekeeping. Don’t forget that 3-course meal.
