- Two doctors on-site three days a week, including referrals to Dr. Brus and Dr. Ann Ost with support from Penn Medicine
- Personal care physician Dr. Ginsberg from Penn Medicine on site
- On-site Podiatry, Ophthalmology, and Dental Services by external providers
- Psychologist
- OT, PT, and Speech therapists provided on site by Rehab 1

All professionals are trained and hold degrees from institutions such as West Chester University, Delaware County Community College, Cecil County Community College, UPenn, Villanova University, University of Delaware, and more.
Resident Safety and Well-being
A Licensed Infections Disease Prevention Specialist with a Nursing degree ensures health safety. Some residents use Wander Guards with alarms for external doors, and the staff is trained and available 24 hours a day. Thorough background checks are conducted for all staff members.
Support Services for Community Transition
Richard Valdez is the Director of Community Life, supported by four other full-time staff members. Additionally, the admissions team prioritizes this aspect, ensuring daily support for residents.
Transportation Services
Residents have access to a shuttle bus service, fully equipped for disability and wheelchair accessibility.
Dining Experience
Three meals a day are provided, with an option for room delivery if residents are ill. Meals are homemade with fresh ingredients, overseen by a licensed dietitian and certified chefs. Residents can choose from a grill menu or enjoy special dining events and are welcome to use a second kitchen for personalized meals.
Complaint and Issue Resolution Process
We abide by required protocols and ensure residents and families have contact information for relevant agencies. The director and staff maintain open-door policies, encouraging residents to bring up any concerns they have.
Communication with Resident Families
Families are informed through the appropriate channels, typically managed by myself or Christine, with numerous contact opportunities including phone, email, and social media updates. Visitors are welcome 24/7.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Short-term or "Give It A Try" stays are offered without commitment, providing a month-long opportunity to experience the community. Initial fees are waived, and amenities are fully provided to ensure residents feel at home.
Pet Policy
Currently, residents may keep up to two cats, with the policy subject to change. Pets are welcome to visit with proper immunization records.
Waitlist Information
A waitlist exists for larger independent living units, projected at a year to a year and a half. Smaller units have shorter wait times, while other units are readily available.
Vaccination Availability
Residents can receive COVID-19 and flu vaccinations on-site, coordinated through Walgreens with upcoming clinics scheduled.
Aging in Place
The property accommodates aging in place with Independent and Supportive Independent Living as well as personal care options at Friends Home. If necessary, residents can transition to skilled nursing and hospice care at Linden Hall.
