Eida- Apartment Rent Plus Care

The cost depends on the apartment size & location plus the care costs of the resident. The cost varies from resident to resident.

Waitlist Availability

Eida- only for 1-bedroom apartments. We have availability in studio and deluxe studio apartments.

Staff and Training

Eida- I assume you are asking about our care staff. We have 2 care directors, care givers, and med techs on staff. They go through extensive training as required by the state of CA & our own administration.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Eida- a care plan is in place for every resident that takes into account their physical needs. This is the 1st line of defense to keep them safe. Also, the building is designed with the safety needs of seniors in mind (wide hallways, hand rails, benches in showers, etc.). We have care staff & med tech available 24/7.

Transition Support Services

Eida- yes, we have resident ambassadors, warm & friendly care and activities staff that welcome a new resident & help them acclimate to their new home. We also check on new residents a lot their 1st week here.

Transportation Services

Eida- yes, on Mon & Tues for medical appointments & on Fri to go shopping for personal needs & wants.

Dining Experience

Eida- we have a lovely sunny dining room with table cloths draped over the tables, sweet floral arrangements at the center of the table and a warm & inviting place setting. One of the dining room’s walls is all windows that face out to our beautiful courtyard. The meals are served restaurant style with 2 specials for every meal. The specials change every day. The food is low salt and very tasty.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Eida- we encourage the resident to talk to the director for who’s department the complaint is about (finance, dining, care, housekeeping). If they are not getting a satisfactory response or action, they are encouraged to talk to the Executive Director.

Cost of Living

Eida- apartment rent plus care. The cost depends on the apartment size & location plus the care costs of the resident. The cost varies from resident to resident.

Communication with Residents' Families

Eida- depending on what is being communicated, we may mail a letter, email, call or text. General notifications about events or repairs going on in the community are emailed to the family on record and the resident, if they receive emails. Rate increases are mailed out. Medical updates may be emailed if they are not urgent. If they are urgent we will call.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Eida- yes, $200 a day for assisted living plus care; 30 day minimum stay.

Pet-Friendly Community

Eida- yes, for permanent residents only, not respite stay. There is a $1000 one-time pet fee. Pet must be 50lbs or less.

Vaccinations

Eida- yes, residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.

Aging in Place

Eida- yes. The whole building is licensed for assisted living so you never have to move when and if you need assistance. You can stay in the same apartment.
