Types of Professionals and Training

Our staff includes RN, LVN, and Memory Care Directors. All team members undergo training before working independently on the floor. We also utilize online training through Relias for all employees to ensure they are well-prepared.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have several measures in place:

• All exit doors are secured from the outside, and the front door locks when the receptionist leaves around 8-8:30 p.m.
• The staff conducts two-hour checks on residents upon request by the resident or family.
• Residents receive an emergency pendant upon moving in.

Support for Transitioning Residents

We provide Resident Ambassadors and staff assistance to help each resident transition smoothly and form meaningful relationships within the community.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation to medical appointments from Monday to Wednesday only.

Dining Experience

Chef Efrain, with over 25 years of experience in senior living, leads our dining services. Two of our cooks have been with Appletree Court for over 16 years. We serve three restaurant-style meals daily, offering two specials and over 15 other menu items to choose from.

Complaint and Issue Resolution Process

Residents can bring complaints or issues to the attention of the Executive Director. If not resolved satisfactorily, they can contact the corporate office or reach out to the Ombudsman.

Cost of Living

Costs depend on several factors, including:

• Assisted Living or Memory Care requirements
• Floor plan
• Care levels
• Medication levels

For example, Assisted Living starts at $4,250.00 for a studio base rate, with care costs ranging from $450-$1,350 depending on the level of care required, and medication management costs from $300-$500 based on dosage frequency.

Communication with Families

Families are welcome to call and check on their loved ones. Staff will inform them of any medical issues. Care plan meetings are scheduled every six months unless there is a change in condition.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do not offer short-term or respite stays at Appletree Court.

Pet-Friendly Community

We welcome pets up to 15 lbs. Residents must feed and clean up after their pets and have them groomed once a month.

Waitlist Status

We currently have a waitlist for Memory Care but have openings in Assisted Living.

Vaccinations

Families can decide if their loved ones receive Covid and flu vaccinations. We offer an annual flu clinic where a pharmacy administers the vaccine.

Aging in Place

Appletree Court allows residents to age in place, but there are limitations, such as inability to provide two-person assist in Assisted Living, manage feeding tubes, IVs, or diabetic insulin sliding scales.
