Safety and Security

To ensure the safety of residents, Our Home Fairborn provides assisted living services with activities to keep residents engaged. The staff conducts two-hour checks and is vigilant about fall risks, helping to prevent wandering and other potential safety issues.

Resident Resources and Transportation

While families typically handle the moving process, often hiring services like two men in a truck, the community does offer transportation for residents under certain circumstances. However, due to the extended duration of some off-site appointments, the availability of transportation with an aide may vary.

Dining Experience

Our Home Fairborn prides itself on its farm-to-table dining experience, serving three meals a day with ingredients sourced from local Ohio farms. Meals include a variety of options such as a soup of the day, entrees like pork tenderloin with sweet potatoes and vegetables, and breakfast favorites like pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Alternative options like hamburgers, BLTs, and subs are also available for residents who prefer something different from the day's main entree.

Resident Concerns and Communication

The community addresses resident concerns through a resident council that meets monthly, allowing residents to voice any issues with specific departments. If concerns are not resolved, residents can escalate them to the executive director or the marketer. Communication with resident families is maintained through weekly emails detailing upcoming events and activities, and a weekly newsletter for residents is also in the works.
