Overview of Professional Staff and Training

In Personal Care, we have mostly CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) and Med Techs, but also have a couple of long-term employees who have caregiver certifications. Our team performs regular trainings to comply with state licensure requirements.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We have 24/7 security and licensed nurses to support our Independent Living residents, which is not typically standard in most communities. There is also 24/7 nursing available to the entire building.

Resources for Transitioning Residents

We have a resident-run welcome committee that helps new residents when they arrive at our community. Additionally, we have a “Welcome Home” program that is implemented in the first week by the Department Managers.

Transportation Services

We offer a shuttle service during the week that provides transportation to major attractions through the Museum District. We can also help anyone arrange private transportation for personal use.

Dining Experience

Independent residents are given breakfast every day and their choice of lunch or dinner to the equivalent of 30 meals per month. Personal Care and Memory Care residents are offered 3 meals per day. Our Executive Chef, who trained under Emeril, ensures a fine dining experience with everything cooked on site and seasonal.

Residents should first try to resolve issues with the Department Manager. If no resolution is met, they can go to the Executive Director.
