Overview on Staff Professionals and Training
We have a Licensed Assisted Living Director who is licensed through the state of MN and has ongoing education requirements to keep their license current. The RN Director of Health Services has similar continuing education credits that they must maintain. Each resident aide undergoes orientation on hire and ongoing competencies overseen by the RN.
Additional professionals on our campus that we contract with include physical, occupational, and speech therapists, a rounding physician, as well as podiatry and dental services for the residents who choose to sign up for these services.
Measures for Ensuring Resident Safety and Well-Being
Each assisted living resident has a pendant that is responded to 24/7 by our in-house staff to assist with needs. They also receive daily "I'm okay" checks. Our entrances are locked and can be accessed with a code at each entry point.
Resources and Support Services for Resident Transition
We do not have any specific program in place for this. Our staff and RN provide assessments and assist in answering questions and supporting residents as they transition.
Transportation Services
We do not provide transportation services but can assist in scheduling if needed.
Dining Experience
We offer three hot meals per day served in our dining room. Residents can choose to have meals delivered to their apartments or make their own meals. We also have snacks available at all times.
Resident Complaint or Issue Resolution Process
We have a grievance procedure in place wherein the resident would contact the RN, myself, or the Assisted Living Director to address any concerns.
Policy on Communication with Resident's Families
The RN Director of Health Services contacts family members as appropriate. Each resident is different, and we have several assisted living residents who manage their own health decisions. We also have residents who don’t receive any health services, so the RN is minimally involved. Each resident has an individualized plan in place depending on their preference and need.
Short-Term or Respite Stays
We do not have short-term or respite stay apartments.
Pet Policy
We do not accept pets.
Waitlist Status
We currently have a waiting list.
