Training and Professional Development

We have PCAs, CNAs, and Med Techs who undergo extensive training to meet the Department of Human Services' requirements, ensuring they can provide high-quality care to our residents. We offer monthly in-service training, and we also collaborate with external professionals who regularly educate our staff. This ensures that our team is well-equipped to deliver the care our residents need and deserve.

Living Arrangements

Our facility is a personal care home, where most of our residents are independent, though some require more assistance. We are not a locked unit, meaning residents are free to come and go as they wish. However, we conduct regular rounds to ensure all residents are safe and secure.

Transportation Services

Yes, we offer transportation services to our residents, but there is a fee of $1 per mile. We also take our residents to shopping once a week, if they are able to manage their own finance and that is included in the rent.

Dining Experience

Our residents enjoy a top-notch dining experience with a variety of options available daily. Home-cooked meals are served three times a day, and all meals are included in the monthly rent. If a resident doesn't prefer what's on the menu, alternative options are always available to ensure everyone is satisfied.

Handling Complaints

When a complaint arises, it is brought to the administrator, who then discusses the issue with the resident and their POA. Together, we work on finding the best solution moving forward.

Communication with Family Members

We maintain frequent communication with family members. Whenever significant changes occur in a resident's life, we contact the POA. If the resident is coherent, we discuss the changes with them as well and ask them to update their family members.

Coordination with Medical Services

It's possible; we can coordinate with the doctor's office to see if they can provide those services.

Aging in Place

Yes, residents can age in place. This will be their home, becoming part of your family, where they can choose to live until they decide otherwise, as long as we are able to provide the necessary care. While we currently don’t have a waitlist, we do have just two rooms available at this time.
