Senior Living Options and Services
We currently have a waiting list for independent living and have some availability in our assisted living and memory care.
I have attached our rate sheets for all 3 types of senior living along with our activity calendar.
Healthcare Staff and Training
We have 3 RNs on staff as well as CNAs and Nursing Assistants. Nursing staff is required to complete 13 days of training before being able to work independently. This includes online training, nursing comps and working with a mentor on the floor.
Safety and Emergency Preparedness
ERSL conducts various types of drills throughout the year including natural disaster, resident elopement, fire drills and online training.
Ambassador Program
ERSL has an Ambassador Program in place to aid new residents during the transition. Ambassadors are volunteer residents who become an instant friend and help new residents feel right at home. They will answer questions and concerns, show the resident around the community, introduce them to other residents, and accompany them to activities and up to 3 meals.
Transportation
Transportation is provided through the activity department for scheduled events. There is no bus for medical appointments, but we do have a list of local transportation options.
Dining
We have restaurant style dining with a featured entrée. There is also an alternative menu with other options. We don’t do special diets.
Concern Reporting
We have a “Concern Reporting” form that is available so that we may direct the concern to the correct department.
Communication with Families
We communicate with families in a variety of ways including a monthly newsletter, emails and social media. Of course, is also available to speak to in person with specific questions.
Respite Care
We do not offer respite care.
Pet Policy
ERSL is pet friendly. Pets can come for a visit as long as they are current on their shots and well behaved. Residents are allowed one dog or cat, weighing less than 40 lbs. There is a $515 one-time pet fee.
Health Services
We offer flu vaccinations in the fall for our residents.
Transitioning Between Care Levels
Residents can stay in their same apartment if they transition from independent living to assisted living. Our memory care is in the same building and is a secured neighborhood.
