Independent Living Community Information

Thank you for the questions. First, we are a stand-alone independent living community. Our professionals are staff members that aid in the enjoyment of members in their retirement years. Members must be 55 years of age, financially qualified, and in generally good physical and mental health to be able to live independently. We do not have nurses or aids on staff.

Safety and Security

Our desk is staffed 24 hours a day and we have routines in place to ensure the safety of our residents. Doors are locked at 9:30pm each night and security is checked throughout the night. We also have emergency pull systems on the wall in our suites.

Transition and Vendor Services

We do have vendors that we work with when a member transitions into the Lodge. We have move managers and home health agencies we work with as each member's needs are unique.

Shuttle Services

We do have a weekly shuttle to the grocery store, which is included in the monthly fee. A shuttle for doctor's appointments and so on, is arranged by the member and they pay for the shuttle service directly.

Dining Services

We offer one meal a day and a continental breakfast. The meal is a buffet style, but the dining staff seats the members. Members can choose to sit with others or on their own. We have a large dining area.

Communication and Work Orders

We have an open-door policy with the general manager and front desk. All communication goes through them. We'll address complaints and concerns as those needs arise. Work orders are put in at the front desk and go through maintenance.

Emergency Communication

If requested by the member, we will communicate with the family when and if an emergency occurs. Because we are an independent living community, we will take the direction of the member who resides here.

Lease and Buy-In Opportunities

We offer lease and buy in opportunities with a wide range of different sizes of suites. Therefore, the lease and buy in monthly fees are different and terms and conditions are different. Our leases range from $2,900 a month to $3,900 a month and the buy in is from $1,900 a month to $2,500 a month.

Short Term and Respite Care

We do not offer short term or respite care.

Pet Policy

We are a pet-friendly community.

Medical Services

We do not give shots on site. Of course, we want our members to be able to age in place. We are not a continuum of care, so we don't offer assisted living services or memory care. We utilize home health care agencies to come in and provide the additional care necessary for our members to age in place.

Suites and Amenities

We do not have a wait list. We offer one- and two-bedroom suites for both lease and buy in options. We have 136 suites with 24 different floor plans, and we tailor those suites to fit the needs of our residents. We offer a full line of amenities that are included in the monthly fee.
