Overview of Staff and Training
At eliseo, we pride ourselves on our exceptional staff and the comprehensive training they undergo. Our team includes professionals in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, all of whom are licensed and meet or exceed state licensing requirements. Our Memory Care unit features secure access, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. We are known for our low staff turnover, allowing for a stable and familiar environment for our residents. Training includes In-Service sessions and online Relias Training, ensuring our staff is well-equipped to provide the highest level of care.
Safety and Well-Being Measures
Our facility is fully equipped with sprinkler systems and alarms, and we conduct regular emergency drills. We have robust fire safety measures, emergency communication systems in stairwells, and 24/7 security. Our dedicated security team patrols the community, ensuring resident safety at all times. Additionally, we have 31 surveillance cameras throughout the community for added security.
Transition Support Services
To aid residents in transitioning to our community, we partner with Moving Station for real estate services, downsizing, and moving. Our Independent Living residents also form committees to mentor new residents, helping them integrate into the community smoothly.
Transportation Services
We offer complimentary on-campus transportation through our Catch-A-Ride service. Off-campus transportation within a 20-mile radius is available for a fee of $15.00.
Dining Experience
eliseo provides flexible dining options with a declining balance plan for apartments and a la carte dining for Villa Residences and Six-plexes. Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing residents receive three meals per day, included in their monthly service fee.
Addressing Complaints
Complaints are initially handled by the relevant department director and, if unresolved, are escalated to our Executive Director.
Cost of Living
Monthly service fees vary based on the floor plan, location, and number of occupants. Cost of living increases are between 3-4% annually, in line with industry standards.
Communication with Residents' Families
For Independent Living residents, communication is primarily between the resident and their family. In cases of health decline or safety concerns, we facilitate communication and meetings with families. Our Social Workers and Nursing staff maintain communication with families of Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing residents.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We are currently planning to offer respite stays.
Pet Policy
Our community is pet-friendly, allowing residents to have dogs, cats, small birds, or fish, with certain restrictions. Residents must be able to care for their pets or arrange for pet services.
Waitlist Information
While we generally maintain an interest list, there is a waitlist for our Six-plexes due to full occupancy.
Vaccination Policy
During the COVID pandemic, we hosted on-campus vaccination clinics. Currently, residents are encouraged to visit their PCP or pharmacy for vaccinations.
Aging in Place
As a life plan community, eliseo supports aging in place by offering a continuum of care from Independent Living to Skilled Nursing, ensuring residents can remain within the community as their needs change.
